Cancellation of a talk by the feminist collective ALyon-Nous at the University of Lyon 3, which was ultimately authorised by the courts

The management of Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University has cancelled, for the second time, the conference entitled “Women and Genocide: Palestinian Realities”, organised by the feminist collective ALyon-Nous. Against a backdrop of several similar bans since March 2024, the collective brought summary proceedings before the Lyon Administrative Court and won its case on 6 November 2025, finally allowing the event that had initially been banned to go ahead.
