On May 27, 2024, the Dauphine Palestine Committee organized a conference titled “What Justice for the Palestinian People? The Role of International Law in Palestine” at Paris-Dauphine University. A few days before the event, the organizers reported that they had faced attempts by university administration to ban the event. On the day of the conference, the Union of Jewish Students at Dauphine (UEJD) called for a rally against the event. According to the organizers, racist banners were displayed, and pro-Palestinian students were subjected to violence and intimidation.
