Journalist Enzo Rabouy taken into police custody following his coverage of a protest

In Paris, freelance journalist Enzo Rabouy was stopped by plainclothes police officers at Montparnasse station upon his return from holiday, and subsequently taken into custody. He was charged with “damaging public property whilst concealing his face” after covering a pro-Palestinian protest denouncing the participation of Israeli companies in a trade fair. The case was eventually dropped.
