Camille Pagiras, president of the Grenoble Students’ Union (UEG), has been subject to disciplinary proceedings initiated by the University of Grenoble Alpes following the adoption of a motion supporting the admission of Palestinian students and drawing attention to the situation in Gaza.

Accused of disturbing the peace and damaging the university’s reputation, she was also barred from re-enrolling as a precautionary measure, while the university sought a ban on her attending higher education for up to five years. The case, which was ultimately transferred to Lyon, was dismissed.
