Refusal to publish an article by Leila Seurat in the journal Questions internationales.

The article “Palestine: Research Challenging Colonial Discourse” by political science researcher Leila Seurat was withdrawn from issue 129 of the journal Questions internationales, dedicated to Palestinians, on the eve of its printing.

According to the journal’s explanation, the text initially met editorial expectations but was ultimately deemed insufficiently “educational” for a general readership on a subject considered “complex.” This decision has been condemned as a form of academic censorship targeting critical analyses of the Palestinian question.
