In Sens, a physics and chemistry teacher was suspended by the Dijon Education Authority after organising a moment of silence at her school on 25 March 2025 in tribute to the victims in Gaza. The education authority considered that this initiative constituted a breach of the duty of neutrality.

After several weeks of suspension, the teacher was finally reinstated at her school on 6 June 2025, bringing the proceedings to an end.
